Research Overview

Ipamorelin (NNC 26-0161) is a synthetic pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) described as the first selective growth hormone secretagogue, with growth hormone-releasing potency comparable to GHRP-6 in animal models. Published data are primarily preclinical, with limited human pharmacokinetic studies. Ipamorelin is not an approved drug.
