Research Overview

CJC-1295 with DAC is a tetrasubstituted analog of GHRH(1-29) that includes the C-terminal maleimide 'Drug Affinity Complex' (DAC), allowing covalent binding to endogenous serum albumin and extending plasma half-life to roughly 8 days. Published human pharmacokinetic / pharmacodynamic studies (showing increased GH and IGF-1) concern this DAC-containing form, which is distinct from CJC-1295 without DAC (~30-minute half-life). Evidence is limited to early-phase human and animal studies; CJC-1295 with DAC is not an approved drug.
